Our BOVA family roots originated from the rustic southern Italian town of Maida Calabria.

In 1963, Bova food opened a corner store for the public in Ambler, PA, selling specialty foods imported from Italy. Customers were delighted with such a variety of delicacies, at that time, there were not many options to choose from.

In 1980, Bova Food moved to a new and larger location in Chalfont, PA, becoming a respected and well known food distributor.

With the expansion of the company and the new warehouse, we were able to serve pizzerias, restaurants, and other specialty stores in the Tri-State area. In addition to the new warehouse, Bova Foods still offers a showroom open to the public. The showroom consists of a wide variety of international foods and a full line of restaurant and pizzeria equipment.
